Trio's Pacific art on show

Me and Fatu, a group exhibition by Christchurch painters Trish Shaw, Karen Tere Schwabe and Felolini Maria Ifopo, is currently on show at Our City O-Tautahi.

The exhibition is the result of a painting workshop run by Pacific artist Fatu Feu'u during the Ono Pacific Arts Festival in February, which is core-funded by Christchurch City Council.

Since the workshop, these artists have continued to explore Feu'u's painting method and motivation.

  • Me and Fatu runs until 17 June. Our City O-Tautahi is the former visitors' centre on the banks of the Avon (corner of Worcester Bvd and Oxford Tce). Entry is free, and it is open Mon-Sat 10am-4pm. More information at www.ccc.govt.nz/ourcity or call 941 7460
