Sport ’n Action — have a GO 
Ever wanted to try in-line skating, judo or Latin dancing? You can, for nothing, in North Hagley Park on Sunday 5 March (10am to 4pm).
The annual Sport 'n Action has about 65 exhibitors this year, showcasing sports and activities and giving people the chance to have a go. The event is linked with the Hillary Commission's mission to encourage people to do 30 minutes' exercise a day. "It's an easy way to try something new and it's fun," says Melissa Slater, of the Council's sports promotions team. |
