Sometimes the question of what's lurking in Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens is a question we may not want the answer to!

But with Bioblitz we do want those answers!

It will be fascinating to find out just how rich the life is within what are two of the jewels of Christchurch.

Like much of life, we tend to see only the surface of things.

Bioblitz will give us a vivid reminder of how diverse and amazing the natural world around us really is.

I'm told it's great science and also even greater fun.

I hope both promises turn out to be true.
