News in brief

Informers wanted

The Council wants the public to let it know when footpaths need repairs.

If the public sees faults in footpaths they should ring the Council’s Customer Centre (941 8999) to report them.

As Council staff does not spot all footpath faults help is sought from the public.

The Council will act as soon as possible when faults are reported.

New Addington park

A new park, about 2200 sq. m, will be developed at the corner of Disraeli and Selwyn streets.

It will include a children’s playground and, in future, it might provide a link with Addington Cemetery. It has potential for a cycle-walk way between Church Square and Braddon Reserve.
