Kim MONEY (Independent Citizens)
My name is Kim Money. I'm standing for Council as I believe fresh progressive ideas are needed.
For 22 years I have been a partner in my husband's building business. We have two teenage daughters. I am passionate about helping people. From my 23 years of initiating community projects I know the importance of listening to people. Currently I'm a member of New Brighton Pier and Foreshore Association, North Beach Coastal Image Group, Grace Vineyard Church, North Beach Residents' Association and Chairperson of Community Connection Nga Ngaru (The Waves) Trust - North Beach Cafe proposal. As a team player I’m committed to developing Christchurch for future generations. I will encourage and assist communities to find their own solutions while endeavouring to connect the policymakers to the front line community workers. This will ensure that the basic needs and services of the city are met.
Independent Citizens (Free of Party Politics)
Gail SHERIFF (Independent)
Gail Sheriff is an experienced Independent City Councillor seeking re-election.
Gail has lived in the Burwood Pegasus Ward for twenty years and has an adult family. Gail enjoys the challenge of dealing with issues and keeping a close scrutiny on council spending. Gail will continue to advocate for public ownership of City Council assets and endeavour to confront all aspects of council decision making that she thinks is in conflict with the community.
Gail has served on the Airport Authority as a City Council appointed director and has gained valuable experience in financial matters and working as a team.
Gail is fiercely independent and holds strong views about the bad influence party politics has on council decision making. Her opinion is the interests of the community is better served by independents who are accountable to the citizens of Christchurch and not a political party.

Chrissie WILLIAMS (Labour for Christchurch 2021)
My role as a City Councillor is to serve the community and provide positive leadership. I believe we need a healthy environment to have a resilient society and prosperous business. I take a particular interest in social issues, water and wastewater, a safe transport system and long-term planning for urban Christchurch. As a trustee of the Avon-Heathcote Estuary Ihutai Trust and Travis Wetland Trust I work actively to restore rivers, wetlands and the estuary. I’m involved with Volunteering Canterbury, Aranui Community Renewal and New Brighton redevelopment. I live in the ward with my partner and two children. I understand what is required to provide facilities and programmes for families, children and youth, in particular, community childcare. With a degree in technology and previous employment in teaching and sports administration, I bring a strong local knowledge base and a range of skills to my work on the City Council.
