Voting Period
Voting documents will be sent to all eligible electors by post from Friday 17 September 2004.
Voting extends over a period of three weeks leading up to and closing at noon on election date. Electors may post their completed voting documents back to the Electoral Officer using a pre-paid envelope which will be sent with the voting documents. A polling place for the issuing of special voting documents and for the receiving of completed voting documents will be made available from Friday 17 September to noon on Saturday 9 October 2004 at the Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street (ground floor).
To be counted, all completed voting documents must be in the hands of the Electoral Officer or Deputy Electoral Officer by noon on Saturday 9 October 2004.
The preliminary results will be known at about 5pm on Saturday 9 October 2004. The results will be published on this website.
