| Couple rapt with insulation win
Mrs Ofelia Suarez- Chambers went to the Leander Street house in Papanui in July seeking advice from a Christchurch City Council energy adviser on better ways to heat her home — and later she won, with husband John, $500 worth of insulation products. This is the second draw of home insulation prizes for visitors at the show home. The third draw is scheduled for September- October. Mrs Suarez- Chambers says their 1940- weatherboard house was cold and they could not afford to heat more than one room at once. They are pensioners on a limited income and expect the insulation will make all the difference. “And we got some invaluable advise, too,” she said. |
