Southern exposure
A Christchurch City Libraries customer recently took a few books with him when he travelled south.
Later, the Fingertip Library staff received an email with the above photograph of the South Pole and a note reporting that the plastic library book bags become quite brittle at minus 23C.
The staff member suggested polar travellers should try the new recyclable book bags.
