Colourful changes at Our City O-Tautahi

Our City O-Tautahi, the City Council facility on the banks of the Avon River at the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Oxford Terrace, has made several changes to its galleries and has several new exhibitions coming up.

The flexible galleries make it easy for community and Council groups to produce displays, while the new Education Space encourages interaction with current exhibitions and is available for schools and educational groups of all ages.

Victoria Bell's soft sculpture The Peacock Fountain Installation/Design No 38 is the centrepiece of an exhibition called Vital: Water, Art and Life in the Garden City. Come and enjoy Victoria's spectacular artwork, learn about the beautiful fountains around our city and discover why we should respect and care for our pure, natural water supply.

Our City O-Tautahi is a place for the people of Christchurch to meet, present ideas, learn and enjoy. It is open Mon-Sat 10am–4pm. Admission free and venue hire is available anytime.

To find out more about exhibitions or the venue, email ourcity@ccc.govt.nz look on the web at www.ccc.govt.nz/OurCity or call 941 7460.
