Science in the City
A new series of monthly lectures called Science in the City is a joint effort by the Canterbury Branch of the Royal Society and the Christchurch City Council.
It provides free lectures on topical scientific issues, principally for people who work and live in the central city.
The next Science in the City lecture is about Urban Growth Management and will feature prominent Lincoln University Professor Ali Memon. The 40-minute talk will be held on Wedneday, 27 April at 1.10pm at Our City O-Tautahi, cnr Oxford Tce/Worcester St.
Last month Lincoln Ecology Professor Steve Wratten talked about Finding Nature in the City.
