Robin White in NZ, Kiribati

Take a colourful journey through the life and works of Robin White, one of New Zealand's leading artists, at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu.

In 1999, White came back to New Zealand after 17 years living on Kiribati, the former Gilbert Islands. In the last 25 years, there has only been one other public gallery exhibition of her work.

The exhibition includes about 75 works - screenprints, woodcuts, paintings and drawings, pandanus mats and tapa.

Christchurch Art Gallery, cnr Worcester and Montreal streets, is free to visit and open daily 10am-5pm, late night Wednesday until 9pm.
