Heathcote River
Tell the Council what you want for the future for the Heathcote River and its surroundings by visiting the website or by picking up a submission form from Service Centres, Civic Offices or City Libraries by Friday, 22 April.
This consultation will help the Council establish a workable vision for a 6km stretch of the Heathcote River from Colombo St to Hansen Park.
Once this has been done, a long-term plan will be produced for the area, including landscaping, tree planting, beautifying the closed section of Hunter Tce and changes that need to be made to meet future demands.
Some of this work, including tree planting, will start next year.
