A place for all paper
In this computer age we still receive a lot of paper.
The good news is all clean paper can be recycled - glossy magazines, "junk" mail, newspaper, greeting cards, even old bills. Put them in a clean plastic supermarket bag, tie the handles and place that on top of your crate - do not overfill bags as they can split.
Also recycle thin card from items such as cereal, tea and soap packets - just flatten and put in with your paper.
Placing your paper and card in a supermarket bag keeps the rain out and reduces the chance of items ending up as litter in your street. Fold corrugated cardboard, from large boxes or packaging, and tie into bundles about the size of your crate.
Place beside your crate on collection day. The bundles need to be that size to help the collectors load them into the trucks.
