Christchurch’s Town Crier is pictured (right) on his way along the Worcester Boulevard to the Arts Centre where he conducts regular tours.

Dressed in his medieval garb, the Town Crier is a tourist attraction.

He makes public announcements each day from noon in Cathedral Square or the City Mall. He also attends public functions and introduces the Mayor, Garry Moore, before his Friday noon Chats in the Square.
