Get Cosy For Winter With Curtains And Insulation


Community Energy Action charitable trust offers people on low incomes many ways to make their houses warmer for winter.

Curtains are available free of charge for kitchen, dining and living areas of the home through its curtain-recycling programme. There are 50 per cent discounts on insulation for ceilings, floors and hot water cylinders and a range of Do-It-Yourself materials for draught stopping and window insulation. Energy efficient light bulbs are half price with any installation. Its programmes are open to qualifying rental properties and others who may not qualify for the Council’s Warmer Homes scheme

Curtains and track donations are sought to be able to keep providing this service to the people of Christchurch. Donations can be made at any time throughout the year.
