REMINDER: Don’t forget to exchange your coupon for your year’s supply of rubbish bags.

The coupons were posted after Easter and they can be exchanged at supermarkets until the end of June and then at Council service centres.

Coupons can be used only once to collect the full year’s bags.

This change in the system is expected to reduce problems with deliveries and with people claiming they have not received bags when in fact they had.

The new coupons are marked with bar code and property identification so the Council can track coupons posted and redeemed.

Landlords will be sent coupons for each rateable property but to the address on the rate demand.

Where properties have more than one dwelling, coupons will need to be redeemed at either a Council service centre or the Council’s store in Shuttle Drive.

Remember the supply of 52 bags is unchanged but the home delivery system has been changed.
