Taming the wildlife park

Park volunteers and Roldo the llama show off the new path at Orana Park

A grant from Fendalton-Waimari Community Board has been used for stage two of the pathway development at Orana Wildlife Park.

The path sealing from the giraffes’ compound to the rhinoceroses’ means an easier walk for visitors, especially people with children in strollers and people with disabilities.

The project was a team effort, with Community Task Force workers providing much of the labour.
