Orr’s Elevation illustrates the city’s built heritage

The beautifully detailed work of architectural illustrator Luciana Orr will be on display at Our City O-Tautahi from 12 December to 14 January.

The 25 works feature some of the city’s most beautiful heritage buildings. This collection is to be published as a public resource and archival record, as a reproducible folio and compact disc.

Councillor Anna Crighton QSO JP says the works are compelling. “Luciana through her drawings is presenting the heritage of our city in her own unique way. She is opening the viewer’s eyes to discover detail and features within our purview, which have not been considered before,” Cr Crighton says. “It is a journey of discovery revealed through the excellent renderings of Luciana’s illustrations.”

Our City O-Tautahi will be hosting a number of exciting exhibitions in January and February as part of the Pacific Arts Festival and the Festival of Flowers and Romance.

  • Our City O-Tautahi is a City Council community exhibition space located in the beautiful original Municipal Chambers on the corner of Oxford Tce and Worcester Blvd. Exhibitions are open 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday. Admission free, all welcome.
