Native Garden Awards open

The search is on to find a selection of native gardens for the annual Christchurch City Council/Canterbury Horticultural Society Native Garden Awards.

These annual awards are not about identifying the neatest, best-designed gardens in Christchurch but are held to reward people who, through their gardens, contribute to the conservation and prosperity of New Zealand native plants and animals.

Nominations may be made by downloading a Native Garden Awards entry form from the web at www.ccc.govt.nz/community/awards/nativegardens or by picking up a copy from the Canterbury Horticultural Society, South Hagley Park.
