Fifty Xmas trees will light up the Convention Centre

The CCS Christmas Tree Festival at the Christchurch Convention Centre is now the biggest in New Zealand, with more than 50 spectacularly decorated trees this year.

Fifty Xmas trees will light up the Convention Centre

The Festival began in 1995 and is always a very popular event. Entry is by gold coin, from 10am daily, 9-18 December. It’s a very successful community event that is also a major fundraiser for CCS, with the benefits going to local people with disabilities.

Visitors can vote for their favourite tree and go into a draw to win a Christmas hamper. All children who attend the festival are invited to make a wish on a special Wishing Tree and go in the draw for a prize as well.
