Libraries’ longer opening hours music to Maia’s ears

Maia Houghton (shown below) is the pleased owner of a new iPod music player which she won in a competition to celebrate the start of Sunday opening at Shirley Library Te Kete Wananga o Oraka. With Maia is baby sister Lilly and Maia’s friend Aleisha. The library, on Marshland Road beside the Palms Mall, opens from 9am-6pm on weekdays, and from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
