Another chance coming to meet your neighbour

Each year, the Spreydon/Heathcote Community Board funds local streets, neighbourhood support groups, and community groups to hold a get together during Neighbourhood Week. The purpose is to encourage neighbours to get to know each other and continue friendships and caring for neighbours throughout the year.

Last year’s event in October included local walks, which proved to be very popular. The walks took in Addington Bush, Woods Mill Cottages, Curiosities Crawl and Notable Women of Opawa.

Similar walks will be organised for Neighbourhood Week 2004.
