Pools decision held

No decision will be taken about opening hours for the city’s suburban pools — Belfast, Edgeware, Woolston, Papanui and Templeton — until the Council has an over-all strategy for pools provision in the city, the City Council decided at its meeting last month.

The public will have an opportunity to comment on the strategy when it is put together. The Council, in making the decision, considered a report on suburban pools — on the net at www.ccc.govt.nz/council/agendas/2004/march/communityleisure/suburbanpools.pdf
