Christchurch City Libraries' Mobile Library is back on the road after a revamp, carrying more than 4000 items, including books, magazines, CDs, children's videos and talking books. It offers resources to wide range of customers, from babies to senior citizens, and provides 30.5 hours of service across the city each week, operating Monday to Saturday with one evening service.

Stops range from semi-rural such as Templeton, Kainga and Brooklands, to city stops like Merivale, South Brighton, Aranui, Parklands and Avonhead. Our timetable hasn't changed and we hope all our existing customers plus some new ones will take advantage of the improved features such as easier access," says Erina Parks, Outreach and Special Needs Librarian.
