Community works maps available mid-month

Copies of ward-area maps showing where and when works are scheduled around the city over the next few years will be available from City Council offices around the middle of the month.

Similar information, based on the Draft Annual Plan which the Council put out earlier this year for public feedback, was included in the April edition of Cit Scene.

Included in this edition, on pp4-5, is a schedule of changes from the Draft Plan. Interested members of the public who want a map showing the planned works as finalised by the City Council last month are invited to call into their Council Service Centre or the Civic Offices on Tuam Street from around the middle of the month.

Alternatively, they can be sent a copy of the mapsand schedules for their area of the city by contacting Alan Dunlop via email at Alan.Dunlop@ccc.govt.nz The addresses of the six Service Centres — Beckenham, Fendalton, Linwood, Papanui, Riccarton and Shirley — can be found under the Christchurch City Council listing in the telephone book.

The general number for Council Service Centres is 941 8999. Recorded information about their opening hours is available by calling 941 6874.
