TV's effect on society


A public meeting to discuss the effects of television on the health and well being of New Zealanders is being held at 7.30pm on 10 September at Majestic House, corner Manchester and Lichfield Streets.

The meeting will be chaired by Christchurch Mayor Garry Moore and the speakers include social justice advocate Celia Lashlie, the Greens’ Sue Kedgely; Fendalton School principal Cheryl Doig, Daryl Gregory from He Waka Tapu Trust and John Terris of Viewers for TV Excellence.
