Pool party fun
Christchurch families are invited to party on down in January – tropical style. A series of Caribbean concerts is to be held at some of the city’s summer pools, with steel drums, palm trees and musicians that sink to the bottom of the pool and play music under water. Not since 1992 has there been an underwater concert at the pools and the Caribbean Concerts are being heralded as a not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear this extraordinary music.The concerts will be held at Halswell Pool on Friday 17 January; at Waltham Pool on Saturday 18 January and at Sockburn Pool on Sunday 19 January. |
