One-hour Council Parking

Many motorists are taking advantage of the first hour free-of-charge parking in three of the Council’s parking buildings in the Central City.

The concession operates at the Lichfield Street parking building, The Crossing (entrance on Lichfield Street just after the Bus Exchange) and the Farmers (entrance behind the library on Oxford Terrace) parking buildings.

This is part of an initiative to encourage more people to shop and do business in the Central City.

The scheme operates every day of the week in these buildings.

Parking is free all day on Sundays at the Lichfield Street and The Crossing car parks.
