Invitation to take part in developing a disability policy for Christchurch City Council

The Christchurch City Council would like to hear from people with disabilities, their families, carers and service providers. We are developing a policy on Council services for people with disabilities, and invite you to send us your comments. We would like to know:

How easy it is for people with disabilities to access Council services
How we can better provide services
How we can make sure that the wider disability community can contribute to the Council's decision-making processes.
How the Council could work in partnership with the wider disability community.

We have written a survey for you so that you can tell us what you think. If you would like a copy of the survey on paper or on audio-tape, please fill in and return the attached reply slip, as soon as possible. The survey is also available from the Council's website: www.ccc.govt.nz/consultation/disability. If you want your ideas considered you will need to complete and return the survey by 15 September 2000.
