Music, dance and more . . . 
Sunday 15 October - Music by Linwood High School’s music department from 2pm in the Bluebird oval garden in conjunction with Heritage Week. Also the English Country Dancers will perform. Friday 24 November - Celebrations to mark 10 years since the inaugural meeting of the Friends which led to the Christchurch City Council buying the garden. Children’s entertainment will be held from 4pm and at 6.30pm a formal garden party will precede the switching on of the lights. * Registrations for the reunion of former Edmonds workers can be made with Ron Hooker (ph: 388 9269 or write to PO Box 15052, Christchurch).
