Report of the Community Services Committee 8 November 1999

A meeting of the Community Services Committee
was held on Monday 8 November 1999 at 12 noon

Present:	Councillor Carole Anderton (Chairman), The Mayor, Councillors Paddy Austin, Erin Baker, Sally Buck, Barry Corbett, Ishwar Ganda, Lesley Keast, Barbara Stewart and Sue Wells.
In Attendance	Councillor David Close from 1.15pm to 1.45pm (present for clauses 1, 2, and 3).
Apologies:	Apologies for absence were received and accepted from: The Mayor retired temporarily from 12.20pm to 12.30pm, from 1.05pm to 1.20pm and at 2.25pm, and was absent for clause 1 and part of clauses 2 and 7. Councillor Erin Baker retired temporarily from 12.45pm to 12.50pm and was absent for part of clause 7. Councillor Anderton retired temporarily from 12.50pm to 1.00pm and was absent for part of clauses 7 and 8 (Councillor Barbara Stewart assumed the Chair). Councillor Paddy Austin retired temporarily from 1.05pm to 1.20pm and at 2.40pm, and was absent for clause 1 and part of clause 2. Councillor Ishwar Ganda retired at 2.10pm and was absent for clause 4, part of clause 9, and clauses 11 and 12. Councillor Sally Thompson retired temporarily from 1.20pm to 1.35pm and at 2.17pm, and was absent for clause 2, part of clause 3, clause 4, part of clause 9 and clauses 11 and 12. Councillor Sue Wells retired at 2.25pm and was absent for clauses 4, 11 and 12.
