Cecil Beaton: Portraits at the Art Gallery from 27 May

Christchurch Art Gallery, Te Puna o Waiwhetu, is the only New Zealand venue for this major retrospective of photographer Cecil Beaton's famous portraits. This study of Monroe, taken when she was 30, is among the showing of more than 100 fascinating faces, representing the scope of Beaton's 50-year career.
