Council seeking leader for LYFE

Ten years ago the first LYFE festival was held in Linwood Park. Supported by the Hagley/Ferrymead Community Board, this festival is still going strong and each year comes about due to young people in the area wanting to create an event of local performance, activity, food and information for youth, their family and friends. 

Each year the festival has grown, with young people taking an active leadership role in all aspects of the event. To help make this all happen there is a dedicated management group and a co-ordinator is appointed. 

We are at that stage of looking for a skilled and passionate youth development worker with proven event management experience  to be responsible for leading the Linwood Youth Festival Experience — LYFE 2007.
