Recreation and event gear for hire
It can be often be difficult searching for recreation and sport equipment for hire in Christchurch. To help, the Council’s Recreation and Sports Unit has created a booklet of information about equipment held by various organisations around the city.
In some cases gear can also be hired to individuals, with special rates offered for non-profit group bookings.
If you are looking for a community van, canoes, an earth-ball, parachute or cricket gear or want some adaptive equipment for people with disabilities to be able to participate in an activity, get a copy of the booklet, Affordable recreation, sport and event equipment for hire to community groups.
