Sister Cities art picked
An artwork by Melissa Gray has been chosen by Sister Cities International as the main illustration for a brochure printed to publicise its Showcase of Young Artists 2006 international competition, What Does Global Citizenship Look Like?
The St Margaret’s College student’s work, Dreaming the Thoughts of Others, won the inaugural Christchurch Sister Cities Young Artists Competition earlier this year and was sent to Washington DC for an international competition which featured almost 100 entries. International Christchurch Youth will be running the Christchurch competition again this year and will be promoting it to schools in the fourth term. |
