Pioneer 2-week closure
The leisure pool, spa pool, steam room and sauna at Pioneer Leisure Centre will temporarily close from 17 September to 3 October so that planned maintenance work can be carried out. However, the lane pool will remain open for lane swimmers and aquafit classes. The closure unfortunately includes a week of the school holidays, but staff say plenty of other activities will be happening in the stadium, fitness centre and other dry areas at the centre.
Upcoming events at Pioneer include the Canterbury Netball Scottwood championships on 17-18 September, the South Island Table Tennis tournament on 23-24 September and a model train show on 1-2 October. |
