Coupon delivered for annual issue of rubbish bags
Coupons for the 2005 official black rubbish bags were sent to ratepayers earlier this month.
On the back of each coupon is a number; in most cases this will be a 1. It means the holder is entitled to one pack of 26 bags. Keep your coupon safe until you collect your bags.
Coupons are sent to ratepayers. Landlords are supposed to either give their tenants the 26 bags (free) or give the coupon to the tenant or the property manager. Coupons can be exchanged at:
- Supermarkets until 12 June (if the allocation number on the back is 1). Look at the front of the coupon for the participating supermarkets.
- Council service centres and Pages Store until 30 April 2006 for all coupons/allocations (Pages Store is on Shuttle Drive off Pages Road. Hours: Mon–Fri 7.30am–4pm).
Extra official Council rubbish bags can be bought from service centres and participating supermarkets — look for the red label and Council logo.
