Armagh St land sale
Public comment is sought on a Council proposal to remove the reserve status on 322 Armagh St so that it can be sold. The Council had intended to create a reserve there but the land is no longer thought suitable for this purpose. Funds from the sale will be used to buy alternative land in the neighbourhood for a local park. This is in line with the Latimer Neighbourhood Improvement Plan.
Submissions about revocation of the reserve status are due by Monday 11 July. They should be in writing and sent to Richard Holland, Greenspace, Christchurch City Council, PO Box 237, Christchurch. Submitters should say if they want to speak when submissions are considered. |
