Sustainability honoured


Thirteen Christchurch based companies gained recognition in the first Target Zero merit awards announced on Tuesday 11 May.

The awards honour companies that have made consistent moves toward integrating sustainable initiatives across business practice.

The awards were judged on systems, people and technology.

The merit award recipients are: Amcor Cartons, Antarctica NZ, Canterbury Car ton Company, Christchurch Engine Centre, Christchurch Polytech Institute of Technology, Fulton Hogan Canterbury, Ngai Tahu Fisheries — Lobster Plant, Orana Wildlife Trust, PMP Print, Telecom NZ, Viscount Plastics, Wickliffe Limited and YHA.
