School holiday programmes

Are you looking for fun, safe and affordable activities for your children during the school holidays?

The Christchurch City Council has been running holidays programmes in Christchurch for the past 10 years for children and youth aged five to 15.

Programmes run from 9am to 3pm daily, in your local community and cost $5 a day for community service card holders or $10 a day for non-community service card holders. Activities range from arts and crafts, sports and physical activities as well as plenty of outings to leisure facilities.

All children’s programmes (5-10 years) are Child Youth and Family Approved, which means parents or caregivers can apply for the WINZ OSCAR subsidy.

Programme bookings for the July school holidays start from Tuesday 8 June.
