The Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC) has begun the sixth round of the Hitech Launch Programme, in which 10 emerging hi-technology businesses are invited to take part in a 14-week programme to lift skills and groom them for the global marketplace.

The programme has earned national acclaim. A recent survey of participants in past programmes show progress by virtually all businesses, with growth in turnover and employee numbers.

CDC runs the programme this twice a year, with financial support from Industry New Zealand.
