Trade mission to NW USA/Canada

The Christchurch Trade Alliance of New Zealand (CTANZ) is planning its first business and study mission overseas, and will head for Vancouver, Seattle and Portland in mid-September.

CTANZ, a City Council-supported organisation, was launched in February. It brings together the private and public sectors to promote the trade and investment interests of Christchurch and Canterbury, at home and overseas.

Organisers of this first mission are hoping to attract about 25 people. They say the mission will be an efficient way for small and medium-sized businesses to investigate opportunities overseas.

For more information about CTANZ or the mission, call Stephen Bain or Toni Brownie at the Canterbury Development Corporation on 379 5575, see www.ctanz.com or email ctanz@cdc.org.nz
