Walking book revised A popular Christchurch book of walks has been fully revised and released. The revised title is Walk Christchurch: 70 short walks that explore your city and surrounds. Sixteen new walks are included and the redesign of some walks. The book has 20 more pages and includes nearly 50 new coloured photos. Information retained from the first edition includes detailed maps, information on children’s playgrounds, wheelchair access, bus routes and walks that dogs can be taken on. Author Mark Pickering has written new text and the price is $29.95. It is available from City Council Civic Offices, your local City Council Service centre and selected bookstores. |
