Bus stops are moving The Bus Exchange will become fully operational from April 30 and all bus stops now in Cathedral Square will move All buses now travelling through the central city will go through the Bus Exchange (excluding the Airport service) or stop outside in Colombo Street. Passengers who now catch buses in the Square and do not want to use the Exchange will be able to catch their buses on or near Gloucester Street, just north of the Square. All buses will now pass through the central city and routes will terminate at either Hoyts 8, Christchurch Hospital, Polytechnic or the Convention Centre.
