A moving dining experience

Christchurch Tramway is set to introduce a new fully dedicated restaurant tram, Christchurch Tramway Restaurant, on New Year's Day.

This City is renowned for its excellent dining and entertainment, breath-taking scenery and historic heritage and the Tramway Restaurant will offer a combination of it all.

It will be an air-conditioned, colonial style, a la carte dining car with fine service, cuisine and beverages.

The tram will have all the modern conveniences expected from a first class restaurant, with specially-designed stabilisers added to ensure a smooth ride and one-way glass for privacy.
