SummerTimes is everything you need for a fabulous summer!

Christchurch City Council Leisure is proud to present another bumper SummerTimes™ programme of events for you and your family to attend.

Music, dance, fireworks, children's entertainment, swimming, walking, community events - you name it, it's here!

This year's feature events include the New Year's Eve Party, Retro, ASB BANK Starry Nights, and the ever popular finale, Rick Armstrong Motors Classical Sparks.

As always there are heaps of events for the kids, including the annual Teddy Bears' Picnic, aquatic fun with Get Set Go and Treasure Island, and amazing games at Kidsplay.

Visit the web site, or refer to the Be There pull-out in your summer issue of City Scene, which was delivered to your letterbox. It lists a wide range of general city-wide events, including the SummerTimes programme.

Look out for the information icons with each listing

These icons give details of recycling, car parking, secure bike parking, postponements, and food refreshments for each event.
