Get set for two weeks of fantastically fun activities!

There are over 150 events crammed into two weeks of the July school holidays, so get clicking, and get set to make your bookings early!

Snow Dogs movie premiere

Mid-Winter Movie Magic kicks off this years festival on Saturday 29 June. You are invited to a movie premiere of the brand new Disney film ‘Snow Dogs’ - at Hoyts Northland Cinemas! Rated G, tickets are $5 per person. Plus, enter the Snow Dogs colouring competition to win family tickets to the Snow Dogs premiere - entries close 21st June 2002 so get colouring!

For your very own dog to take home, why not purchase our festival mascot Cool Stuff the dog as a collectible beanie toy? He’s on sale for $7 at the Ticketek Town Hall Booking office, City Council Civic Offices, Centennial Pool, Pioneer Stadium, QEII Pool, and at our Ticklish Allsorts events, as well as Kids Karaoke and Kids 4 Peace events.

Events this year include some old favourites like the Krypton Challenge, A Day in The Life of a Park Ranger and From Bells to Basement, and new events include The Great Pipe Dream - an outdoor exhibition of sculptures created by kids out of recycled PVC piping! And Ticket North and Ticket South.

For North Canterbury children, Waimakariri Fun lists some fantastic events, right in your neighbourhood!

The Ticketek booking office opens on Saturday 15 June. Please note that this year, free events can only be booked from Saturday 15 June, and these are not available through the mailorder form. See our How to book tickets section for more information.
