Youth Art and Caption Sponsored by Telstra Saturn and Sea Cruises Entry forms available at Civic Offices, Service Centres and Central Library Winning entries will be displayed in the Food Court Crossing during N.Week and a presentation evening will also be held there after hours to present the metropolitan prizes, and thank the sponsors and participants.
2 categories for Childrens colouring competition Each competition to be judged in each Board area. Prizes are 1st $50, 2nd $30, 3rd $20 Whitcoulls vouchers for each category to be provided by each Board Area. Etching of Colouring competition distributed in September City Scene as a cut out. Copies available at local libraries, and service centres.
Funding Application Forms, sponsors information, Walking programme, letters from Police and Neighbourhood Support Canterbury have also been distributed to Service Centres, and also any information unique to the local community available from local service centres. A Festival during Neighbourhood Week is Childrens Day to be held at the Groynes on Sunday 28 October 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM. This is a free fun community day. Hagley/Ferrymead also hold the Life Festival during the Week you would need to contact Claire Sullivan for these details.
