This is an invitation to the launch of a new book about the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.
The launch will be held on Friday 29 October 1999 at 11.30am at PPP Printers Ltd, 339 St Asaph Street, Christchurch, as the first of the 5000 books come off the presses.
This is the first publication of its type and will make an ideal gift for New Zealanders as well as overseas visitors.
The 36-page book, lavishly illustrated with coloured photographs and text, describes the various sections and aspects of the gardens.
It will be available from November at the Botanic Gardens Information Centre and at City Council service centres.
