Report of the Strategy and Finance Committee to the Council meeting of Thursday 27 May 2004

A meeting of the Strategy and Finance Committee was held on Monday 17 May 2004 at 9.15am

Present:	Councillor Alister James (Chair), The Mayor, Councillors Carole Anderton,  Graham Condon,   Barry Corbett,  Anna Crighton,  Ishwar Ganda,  Denis O’Rourke,  Barbara Stewart (in the chair for clauses 5, 8, 10.1, 10.2, 11, 12 and 13) and Ron Wright.
In Attendance:	Councillor Paddy Austin.
Apologies:	An apology for absence was received and accepted from Councillor Pat Harrow. Councillor Crighton temporarily retired at 11am, returned at 11.25am, retired at 11.55am and was absent for clauses 6, 7, 8, 10.1, 10.2, 11, 12 and 13. The Mayor retired at 11.15am and was absent for clauses 5, 7, 8, 10.1, 10.2, 11, 12 and 13. Councillor James retired at 11.20am and was absent for clauses 5, 8, 10.1, 10.2, 11, 12 and 13. Councillor Corbett retired at 11.55am and was absent for clauses 8, 10.1, 10.2, 11, 12 and 13.
